Reading an offer
Six lines from the coupon tell you whether it fits the session you were already going to play. The percentage is not one of them.
Write down the cap in rand, the minimum deposit, what the wagering multiplies, the maximum bet while the coupon is active, the expiry, and the games that count. A blank is not a zero. That is why Hollywoodbets says See operator terms on this site.
White Lotus is the worked contrast. SIGNUP150 is 150% up to R1,000 from R50, at 40× the deposit plus the bonus. The October spin coupon says the 40× applies to the deposit, the bonus and the spin winnings. Those are different prices.
Apollo sets the R9,999 ladder at 30× the deposit plus the bonus, and the terms show R100 plus R100 bonus becoming R6,000 of wagers. Springbok sets deposit coupons at 30× the deposit plus the bonus, with a R100 maximum bet. Silver Sands sets R8,888 at 10× from R50, and excludes a list of tables.
- Does the cap fit the amount you were going to deposit, or does it push you higher?
- Does the maximum bet sit below the stake you actually use?
- Does the coupon expire before you can finish at a stake you can afford?
- Are your games weighted at 100%, or at a rate that stretches the requirement?

Pros and cons
Pros
- A written six-line check stops a headline from making the decision.
- Apollo and White Lotus print enough of the base to do the arithmetic.
Cons
- Several brands leave the maximum bet or the expiry unstated.
- Two clauses in one document can both be real. Gbets is the example: match-line caps, then a later R10,000 cap on deposit-match winnings.
Questions players ask
What should I read on a casino coupon before depositing?
The rand cap, the minimum deposit, the wagering base, the maximum bet, the expiry and the game weighting.
What is the difference between 40× the bonus and 40× the deposit plus the bonus?
On a R100 deposit and a R100 bonus, 40× the bonus is R4,000 of wagers. 40× the deposit plus the bonus is R8,000. White Lotus writes the wider base on its October spins.
Where do I keep proof of the opt-in?
Screenshot the cashier at the moment you enter the code. If the credit is missing, that screenshot is what support will ask for.
